I am Nan Salminen.

Born into a family devoted to breeding and loving dogs, I have been a dog owner, lover, and later a breeder, all my life. Dogs have brought me joy, love, companionship, livelihood, friendships, purpose, and unwavering loyalty.

Being a dog breeder means carrying both the responsibility and the affection for new life from the very moment I decide to bring puppies into the world—even when they are still just an idea. As they grow into living beings, I carry them in my heart throughout their lives. I find them the best homes, and I remain available to their new owners around the clock, should any concerns arise. Together, we find solutions in the best interest of the dog.

Having a dog with lifelong expert “Customer Support” and “Operating Instructions” is not a privilege that all dogs come with these days. In today’s world, dogs are acquired from many different sources—some through online purchases or less-involved breeders, others through rescue from questionable situations. In the jungle of services, nutrition choices, breed-specific handling, care and training, health concerns, coat maintenance, and more, it’s easy for less experienced owners to feel overwhelmed—and even lose money—while trying to choose the best options to keep their beloved companion healthy and happy.

Having spent my entire life with dogs and working with animals, and with a background in veterinary medicine, behavioral science, physiology, and nutrition—along with a strong network of professionals in the field—I can be a “Lifelong Breeder” for your dog as well. Through the consultations I offer, I can help solve a wide range of challenges.
